Tips for Digging Deeper
"About" page: Does who they say there are match what they present? Do they offer their credentials?
Content: Look at the vocabulary, images, multi-media content... do they match the stated intent?
Style: What's your impression of the overall graphic design including banners, logos, and colors? Does it match your expectations of the source?
URL: Can you trace the website back to the parent website, if needed?
Links: What other sites does the website link to? Do they match the information and intent of the original website?
Site Architecture and Labelling: How is the site organized? What vocabulary is used for labeling? Is there a copyright statement?
